A: Decentralized 2-factor authentication (d2FA) is an extra layer of security for your Zelcore wallet. It establishes a user-selected PIN, verified by message signing, that is stored on the blockchain and attached to your account. When D2FA is activated, you will need your PIN to access your account and confirm transactions before they’re submitted to the public ledger.
Like your login credentials, your PIN is not stored, nor can it be accessed or restored, by Zelcore. You can deactivate d2FA at any time, if you wish.
